This was the first "real song" that I ever wrote on MilkyTracker, and is one of the songs I'm most proud of.
Just a year or two before I wrote this, before I had even had the idea to try my hand at making chiptunes, I never believed that I would be able to write anything like this. So to write it and then hear it at the time was a huge achievement for me.
I probably could have quit writing music right then and there. But as any musician knows, music does not leave you alone, and it follows you around for the rest of your life. So, here I am, more than a decade later. . .
